Christmas

Christmas is almost here. We have been having fun reading Christmas stories and singing songs. Our Christmas parties will be Thursday, December 18th and Friday, December 19th. Your child should have brought a note home telling them about our gift exchange and what they should bring for decorating gingerbread houses. Please call me if you have not recieved this note. I hope everyone is having a great holiday season.

Halloween Parties

Our Halloween Parties were so much fun. We made lots of cool crafts and ate yummy ghost and cat cookies and Frankenstein pudding cups. We played fun party games and showed off our great costumes. We shared lots of candy and ate tons of junk. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

We had a great time at the pumpkin patch. We had great weather and all the kids had a great time running through the pumpkin patch and picking out pumpkins. We found little tiny pumpkins, big fat ones (that we couldn't carry), and medium sized ones. We ate lunch at the pumpkin patch and they gave us yummy donuts too. We got a coloring book and a pumpkin to take home. Thanks to all the moms and grandmas who helped make our field trip a success.

Field Trip

We will be taking a Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch, Thursday, October 23rd. We will be going to Southridge Farms which is clear down in Santaquin but if you went with us last year, it was worth the drive. I appologize to the M-W-F class but they couldn't schedule us on that Friday so we will all be going together and there will be no school on Friday. We will meet at my house at 10:30 on the 23rd. Please have your child wear good walking shoes and hopefully the weather will cooperate with us. We will arrive about 11:30 and do a hayride out to the pumpkin patch. Each of the children will get to pick a pumpkin and then we will ride back to the cars. They have a picnic area and we will eat lunch and have donuts and Apple Juice. Then we will return back to Lehi between 1:30 and 2:00. In order to make this a success, I will need about 3 or 4 moms to help drive and help me supervise the children. This is a really fun field trip and the kids will love it. Siblings are always welcome but you will need to pay for any siblings attending. The cost is about $3.50 per child. Thanks! Sherri

October

Fall is upon us and I have lots of fun things planned. I love the fall and all the fall holidays. The leaves are changing colors and it is cooling off a little bit. It is a great time of year!

Our first holiday is Halloween. We will be taking a field trip to the pumpkin patch in October. I have tentatively scheduled a date for each class to go. (see the Oct. calendars) We will be doing this on a regular preschool day and will be gone during the regular class time. I will need at least one parent to go with me to help with the children and transportation. The children should wear their preschool t-shirts and some good walking shoes.

There will be no school October 16, 17, and 20th. It is fall break.

Our Halloween Parties will be on the 30th and 31st. Have your child wear their Halloween Costume to preschool and bring a bag of candy to share. They can bring a treat to share with the other children if they would like. We will be having a fun day and playing games and eating lots of junk.

Thanks for all your help and I love having all your children in preschool. They are all great!

Learning lots of new things!

We are getting into the school year and have been having lots of fun. We have had so much fun with our car theme. We made cars as we learned about obeying. We drove our cars all around the classroom and Ms. Sherri helped us remember the rules with our street signs. We love learning about new things and our favorite things to do are playing outside and snack time. We have made new friends and learned new songs and read some really great stories. We talked about the letter A this week and even made our own Apple Pies. Next week we will be learning about letter B.
